Nearside Xenon remains on full beam!! |
|
After using my main beam the nearside Xenon remains on full beam for up to a minute. If i flash the lights sometimes it brings the beam back down, but not always.
Any ideas as to what is causing this? What can i do to sort it out?
Anyone else had this problem?

Sticking shutter ...
Try giving a bash and see if it releases ..other than that its a new unit ( unless you want to take it apart and see if you can cure it ) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I think i'll just give it a bash first. Is a "sticking shutter" easy enough to fix once the light assembly is opened up? Sounds like a bit of a messy job. I guess i'll have to just keep blinding people for the moment.
At least its the nearside one!

Well, just gave her a hefty boot in the headlight and it did seem to work!
Nice to know that Land Rover extend their build quality even into the headlights!
Did get a couple of sideways looks from the neighbours tho
Not sure i'd want to do this too often although it does help work out some of the frustration of the continuing build quality issues
