New 55 Reg HSE- what mods and changes would you recommend
Ok been hiding in the background for a while and watching all the mods and inprovements that can be made.
Interested in what "faultmate" type updates and modifications to make - I may have access to a suitable system (tbc).
I am guessing that Nav on the move is a good starting point - is just a menu option that needs to be "ticked/selected"?
I already have the 4x4 info screen.
What else would folk recommend in terms of changes - at the moment thinking of the "free" ones! .....as the car blew a large whole in my wallet!
Thanks in advance

... thanks - I was trying to do the "free" things before I sell the family!
Its a slippery slope - and there's lots of shiny things I would like - actually there's one I really need - which is the US style tow receiver, trying to find a 2nd hand one......
I have a removable winch from my old Disco and it would be nice to use the same option on this one.

Does it look a bit like this?
Coz if it does I will be selling this one when I get some more bits for it.
Let me know if I can help.

The K&N has no effect whatsover, other than the K&N "whistle" when you accelerate.
at least it didnt effect my D3 when I put it in.. I just kept getting an "Air Intake Temperature Correlation" error on the faultmate - error went away when I removed the K&NDuncan

Two easy but really good upgrades / mods:
1 - Change the cupholders for the new style so that bottles and cans stay upright
2 - Make the Aux power sockets permenantly live £0.20 or so. Brilliant Mod and dead cheap.
If you're going off road then sumpguard and then some beefier rubberD3 HSE MY05 Auto
Expo Rack, Club MTR, LR Spots, A Bar, Light Guards, GNVP Sump Guard, GNVP Ladder, Cup Holders, RLD A Bar brackets. Disco3Club stickers, Aux power on Mod

I have ust fitted a K&N having had one in my 110 - made as big difference with a stage 1 tune
On the D3 I find it does make a difference, feels a little more responsive. I will see how it goes.D4 2014
