Damn Farnell's in Bradford!!!!

So I had just got round to convincing myself that my D2 TD5 was a great motor and easily as capable as my previous D3 (well nearly) when bloody Farnells have gone and lent me a TDV6 HSE Auto as a courtesy car when mine is in for some warranty work Twisted Evil

I'm sure it is a ploy, I forgot just how damn good they are and now I want one again Big Cry

You need to get saving again, or have a medium sized win on the lottery Wink

I bought from them. I have to say that they weren't exactly trying to sell too hard- they just gave me a 'best price' and let me get on with it really.

Same when I went to pick the car up - not interested in showing me anything else (even though I was looking for another car at the time).

To be fair I've dealt with them for years and have always had great service, I think they gave me the D3 partly as a sales ploy but also to compensate me for the fact that they had to re-book my appointment twice as other inconsiderate drivers failed to return the courtesy cars on time!

Now I'm off to the local disused quarry to put it through it's paces Very Happy

Aye the 90 has gone, I did plan to keep it but was recently offered more money than I bought it for so let it go and put the money into a winch and some AT tyres for the D2. Will have to run the D2 for at least a year or so but will certainly be back in a D3 soon.

My Disco 3 has been in for 5 days and they've loaned me a Range Rover Vogue. I prefer the Disco but it's nice to have all the footballers wives toys for a week Smile
