Fitting Icom IC 440 CB help

Hi All
I am planning to fit my Icom this weekend and was going to run power directly to the battery via a fuse unless anyone can suggest another source that is better?
Thanks
Ben

Hey Ben- you have to run coax through the firewall to the antenna anyway, so power from battery is no big deal. Power from auxiliary battery would be even better as it is closer and no need to run power leads across the top of the firewall.

Another source of power is from behind the lower glove box. There are a few empty sources in the fusebox - but you would then have to remove the driver side kick panel to source ground... just as easy to get directly from battery.
