15000klm 6 Months no problems.
Over 4000 of those was towing a 2300kg 21' Caravan. The tip included some very average Australian outback roads.
It is simply best and most reliable new car I have ever owned.Discovery 4 SE Long range fuel tank Kaymar Rear Bar.

Agree with the first bit but the 3 D3s I've owned (still got 2 of them) have easily been the most problem ridden cars I've ever had, and not just little niggles! On a good few occasions had to abandon a trip in my D3 as something has failed to the point of car needing recovered or limped to the dealer. Luckily have been able to use SWMBO's car which seems to only catastrophically fail on holiday!
I suppose some of the 75% might be a bit like Triggers broom but the link says it

edit or it might if i did it right

I will also add that I have never had a new car before this that didn't need some warranty issue fixed in the first 6 months.
The D4 did go back for its 6month check (before the 4000klm trip) and Q093 but it didn't have any faults prior to that. After Q093 it was down on power on the return visit to the dealer I assume they fixed the loose clamp that was causing boost to leak. That kind thing isn't a fault of the car but a dealer issue.Discovery 4 SE Long range fuel tank Kaymar Rear Bar.

Owned a D3 for nearly 4years and 44,000 miles and the only issue was a faulty parking sensor. Had the D4 for 3 months, no issues to report.
5 friends have owned or still own a D3's. No major or persistent issues to report. 3 still own and are happy with their D3's (all 3 would purchase LR products again), another traded for a D4 and the 3rd trader for a FL 2.Current:
2014 RRS 3.0 HSE
Porsche 997 GT3
BMW 118d SE
Past:
D4 HSE 3.0 TDV6 Auto
D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 Auto
I've had 2 D3's no problems. D4 no problems except for memory seat illumination goes off and on intermittently. Done 14000 miles and not been back to the dealers average 29mpg since new.
Only real problem is trying not putting my foot down to enjoy the acceleration or enjoying the serenity of the whole experience.

To be more helpful - my experience has been:
Mar - Bought Car (brand new D4)
Apr - MY10 Assurance work, replacement trim, replacement accessories - TADTS (2 days off the road)
Apr - Fuel Leak - car unsafe to use - a few days off the road (4-5 days off the road)
May - Steering Column noise - diagnosis of noise, car usable but really annoying noise (1 day off the road)
June - Fix for Steering Column (1 day off the road)
July - Satnav / Battery fault - Car un-usable - (3 days off road)
12 days off the road and five visits to the dealers in four months seems pretty poor. I think there is a reason that LR assistance is so good - it needs to be!

Just come back tonight from 2,500 mile trip ( 1500 of which had a caravan on back) which took me as far as 7,000 feet up in the Pyrenees - absolutely no issues whatsoever. Tremendously capable and comfortable tourer.

I have had two Audis from new in the last 4 years and both suffered a number of faults. One was in over 10 times for warranty repairs and fault fixing in a 2 year period. Yet Audi reputation is meant to be high quality.
So, I personally dont give a monkeys about perceived reliability issues that some people have as I think most of the time it is down to luck of the draw.
The internet and forums typically tend to have posts from people with problems. People without problems dont tend to speak up as much.
