Lottie Does Eastnor
Lottie and I took the D3 to Eastnor yesterday afternoon for one of their "Landrover Experience" sessions. A great time was had by all. No one got stuck but it was very slippery in places. The D3 is a very impressive bit of kit. Lottie can't wait to go again. She might even let me have a drive next time

have to agree with Mac on that one The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Id have to ask the chap who took the photos as they are for non commercial use only.
It was indeed a great afternoon out, the monsoon conditions made for a bit of a laugh
The LRE chaps were talking of organising single vehicle type days for next year, so a Discovery Day, RRS day, Defender day that sort of thing. Keep an eye on the facebook page would be my suggestion, although I did hear them saying there wont be anymore self drive sessions this year, Eastnor are fully booked with demos & training days now.BV55 YZE, ex G4 Challenge RRS. So not a Disco 3. Well, not quite.

I stand to be corrected on this but i think you will find that it isn't just Eastnor who aren't doing any more self drive days. Two 4x4 clubs that I am a member of (including the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club) have been told by the management at Dunkeld that none of the LRE centres are doing self drive days any longer. Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300

It took me ages to clean all the mud out of the radiators
Glad to see it being used for what it was built for.
