The little lever on the left side of the steering wheel is for voice recognition for Sat Nav & Stereo, it is also for phone if fitted however if you don't have the green & red little levers on the right side of the wheel you do not have Bluetooth fitted. Mine is like that and it is not worth retrofitting it. I use a Garmin GPS for Bluetooth & handsfree calling.

so it could be that the Garmin device requires a ROM upgrade. I had this issue with my wife's Mitsubishi Outlander - purchased new Nokia phone and it would not connect, (whereas the old phone worked perfectly), when I did the ROM upgrade it worked first time.

Alternatively it may be that an upgrade is required in the LR's bluetooth module, but not sure how to access or if this can be done.

I note you have tried 3 devices, but if they all have the same ROM version, this could be the problem. Have you also sought advice from the Garmin people, or Googled for the issue?

If you don't have bluetooth module fitted you may be able to fit the D4 module. Someone (I think wiggs) was selling them ready to fit. Idea

Yeah, but you need the loom, switches & module, too expensive. Sad
Then you have to fit them!
