MTR's are the best I think but no point unless you do a lot of off road driving. Stick with the all terrains as they are pretty good on and off road unless the ground is very muddy, loose, flinty.

Off-road tyres tend to be more noisy on the road than the factory fit ones. Worth bearing in mind before you go chunky, and just as some tyres are more chunky than others, some chunky tyres are more noisy than other chunky tyres. D3 HSE V8...

The standard tyres look quite chunky. Have you gone for 18'" or 19"? Standard rubber are also quite good off-road too as many on this site will tell you - you know, just in case you get... well.... you know... tempted to turn off the tarmac? D3 HSE V8...

more a part of what ?
If you don't need aggressive rubber don't fit it. Your D3 will not be as stable in the wet around corners - especially at speed.
If your running on tarmac - keep yer standard fit tyres on

Si you beat me to it,
For info quite a few of us change back to road tyres if we are not going off road for a week or two that said being the great car it is the D3 goes well off road on standard rubber. Go to any LRE centre to see this point proved.
