Premium ICE pack??
Hi I'm new to disco3 and just looking at buying a LR3 now. I've come across some with premium ICE pack - could anyone tell me what this includes and whether it's worth having (don't seem to be able to find info in seachs) Many thanks!

I have it on mine
I think at least its the heated rear seats and cubby box fridge
But am sure I will be corrected.
My passengers love it, especially when they have been out working the dogs and are wet.D4 HSE - Aintree Green

I prefer the idea that the Premium In Car Entertainment is the beer fridge rather than the humble radio!

Thanks everyone, really appreciate your help. Sounds like the 'in car entertainment' sounds about right (should have managed to figure that for myself really!). Wonder how much it would be to go for the beer chiller as an extra....?!

I think that the Premium ICE pack gets you and additional amp, a couple of extra speakers and controls in the boot.
I've had Disco's with it and without. It's nice if you can get it and don't pay extra for it, but otherwise I would not lose any sleep over it. Most kids now come equipped with Ipods...
From what I remember the extras that the Premium-ICE has over the Hi-ICE in the D3 are..
Active rather than passive subwoofer
More powerful amp
Logic 7 surround sound processing
Extra speakers in front doors
Speakers in 3rd row seat area
Rear controls in 2nd & 3rd row seats.
I think that's it!

The main difference between the standard and premium audio systems is that the standard has a single CD player whereas the premium can hold six CDs.
I have the premium audio system in my '05 TDV6 S and it does not have the rear controls fitted.
You can download the Audio System Manual for details of the controls and options.
