Expo Rack - Interested now in Spots on rack |
|
Now that the Summer is rapidly closing, and the clocks ever so closer to going back, I am seriously now thinking of a set of spots up top.
As many know I do tend to travel to work at 3am and play Badger dodging each n every morning, and lately the odd deer , so I now want as much light as possible on the really enclosed parts of my Winter route.
I dont want to pay mahoosive amounts, as I want 4, so whats my options on budget types, and also my options on fixing without cutting holes in the Expo Cowl.
Any pointers will be appreciated

If you have xenons then I think you will find "budget" type lights are not going to make any difference. You will need either have to spend on the likes of Lightforce etc or go for budget HID's. And "budget" HID's are not exactly cheap and probably come in at the same price as the LF's.
Maybe try and pick up some light sets off of ebay and match them with a DIY HID upgrade from HIDS4U...? The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Sorry Wex, The spots I think I will go for OEM, but anybody got dimensions on Fabricating Brackets to be more precise.
Would it be possible to Rivit the said brackets on the bottom front expo bar ontop and behind in a "L" shape, does that make sense
