No good without fittings! I bought a genuine one from the stealer, was pricey but keeps both of my puppies (dogs, VA, dogs!) in the back & they can not sneak through. Worth the extra unless u can get one on fleabay with fixings. 8)

PS Had to look on multimap to see where Newton Stewart is! Embarassed Liverpool is not that far from U??

Get him used to a DogBag while he's young. They're much better than keeping a dog loose in the bag. Keeps the hairs and dirty inside too.

This is a medium sized bag. You'll only need the small one. See http://www.roofbox.co.uk

personally I use crates (cages) you can buy them cheap off ebay. a medium/small one will fit in the back and still leave space for one rear seat to be put up, it will ensure you can open boot without dog jumping out etc. and is really important in the case of an accident the dog will be kept safe, less likely to be hurt and if the window(s) are broken wont bolt.

ps get him a large parrots 'coup cup' for the crate, its a metal bowl used for parrot feed and should come with a bracket to attach to the cage, just means you can leave some water in there with him and it wont get trodden in or knocked over. Wink

I also find a towling 'dog bag' usefull for muddy wet days, rest of the time I vet bed line the crate, its soft absorbant and does good job trapping dirt off the dog.
