Are you sure that the water isn't coming from a dislodged/blocked drainage pipe from the air conditioning?
Have a look in the footwell behind the carpet that is to the rear of the centre console
If it isn't that, have you got a sunroof 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Thanks Paul, this is only happened in the last couple of days since the two bouts of heavy rain in Essex. My disco is parked slightly down hilll and on a left hand camber. Absolutely loads of water is gathering on the passenger footwell, concentrated mostly towards the left front corners ( i.e. the natural lowest part of the floor the way the car is parked) Have read so forum threads which suggest it is the drainage pipes blocked from my sun roof. Have tried to rod a piece of wire down the holes and it gets to about 3 feet and gets stuck and the water still does not drain well from the hole after ( oured a little in to the s/roof cully to test). Threads suggest checking the bottom of the piles to see if they arer blocked. the offside one comes out at the side vent, but don't know how to take it off to check it ? The n/s pipe sounds like a nightmare to find have'nt even attaepted that

It could also be coming in via the A Pillar trims....If the screen has been replaced in the past or the trims have been refitted the clips have a Neoprene Gasket that goes through a HOLE in the A Pillar and holds the trims on.
If any one of the clips is broken then loads of water comes in

Thanks Mac, just taken a look and the oustise trim does seem a bit loose and very wet at the bottom where there is a sponge bit behind the trim, should I remove the oustside trim or the internal trim to check further ?

My outside trim came off with just a good tug. For the inside I seem to remember that the screw is behind the bit of plastic with 'Airbag' written on it and then it can be slid up / removed.
