Well I've taken the plunge and bought a Disco3! Loads of miles (135,000) on the clock but serviced by Stratstone most of it's life, so should be OK. HSE so it has all the bells and whistles.
Question, what should I look out for in a vehicle with this mileage? It drives very nicely I have to say, well certainly as good as my beloved P38 DSE with 160,000 miles!
Regards
Ian

Welcome
At that mileage, some of the big stuff will have already been done. It should have had the timing belts done at 105k. Stratstones should be able to tell you its history if they have done the work.

Thank you Gareth. I am going to contact Stratstone and check that. It really does drive nicely, a mate has a 2006 D3 XS with only 24,000 on the clock, and it certainly feels the same as his.So I'm not disappointed. Of course it isn't perfect, some small stone chips on the bonnet, and a couple of minimal chips in the windscreen which I'll get 'filled' asap.Neat inside but the drivers seat has suffered a bit, as has my P38 seat, but being leather I'll give it a good feed! All the electrics work as they should, well so far anyway.
I'll be on with more questions if I may.

Yes, thank you, very good point! Now I just need some snow to test it!

Best to ensure you have unlimited windscreen replacement on your insurance as the cost a fortune to replace otherwise.
I have it on mine, cost £50 to replace & doesnt affect no claims.
