headlamp power wash retro fit |

hello guys and girls have a disco 3 have fitted headlamp washers to disco 3 fitted new bottle headlamp power wash pump and level sensor and all pluged in system will not work please help all relays under bonnet seem to be there and fuse ok

You probably need to enable them in the CCF.... 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Yep...just checked and there is an option in the CCF for Headlamp Wash (Fitted / Not Fitted) 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue
2007 Golf GT DSG

Don't forget when testing that it'll only work if the lights are on and only every 5th wash in 10 minutes (something along those lines anyway) The End

Nope fitted all the bits but can't find a way to alter the ccf without the use of a faultmate or simular diagnostic tool. The ccf is locked out to IDS so even a dealer cannot alter this. The only way is to over an seperate loom and manual switch, but I think it would look tatty.

too add power wash to D3 you need
2 x jets
1 x connecting pipe
2 x retaining springs
1 x washer pump
1 x washer pump rubber
level indicator
you can use the same bottle as they use the same bottle for with/without but the with has 2 holes drilled for the pumps, you need to remove the bottle and drill the hole(marked) insert the grommet and pump
you do need ccf file enabled with other than IDS TLO has left the building.......
