What dash cams now?

Hi all

I know we were all fans of BlackVue cameras and like many, I have run one for the last 8 years

Thinking Now that a rear camera might be good and an update on quality too

What’s everyone using?

Thanks

I'm using a NextBase 522GW

The quality is full HD and very smooth, and it can have either a separate rear view camera (for the rear boot lid) or a rearward facing camera attached to the actual unit (to capture the in car activity too).

Well pleased with it over the past year or so.

Same here,
Easily fitted and great video
I had to turn off the audio though, not the best singer and also picks up swearing very easily

Had BlackVue for many years now, tried others but keep coming back to BlackVue.
There is a bit of a sale on at the moment.

I don’t have a rear but my front camera is a Viofo A119v3 and it’s been absolutely trouble free since the install. Price point is good, too, as is the picture quality. They have newer models nowadays that support front and rear at the same time.

I've just had a Gnet fitted to my company car, front & rear, cloud option & lots of other stuff too. Much more advanced than my Transcend Drivepro200.

Seems good

Easy to fit, just feed the power wire round the headlining and trim lips.

To view, either pull the memory card, connect up to a computer to view

Or

Get your phone, tablet, alter the network to the BlackVue and simply watch or download without touching a thing.
