why does my automatic feel like it slips into neutral?
Recently whilst driving, my automatic will suddenly not have any power in the accelerator and the revs will go up as is if it has slipped into neutral. I have to re put it into drive for it work again. This has happened both from standing start and whilst driving. Any suggestions as to why this could be?????

Sounds like the classic gearshift linkage problem, pulls gearstick out of drive and D isn't on the display and gearbox is in N.

Thanks for your reply. I will look out for D in the display next time this happens. If it is this, do you know if its expensive to get fixed?
