Whats the best colour for a D3
i currently have a java black d3 HSE, my dad has took it for a spin a few times and has fallen in love with it... due to bodywork issues (rust) with his M reg discovery which hasnt even touched 100k miles yet i may add he is going to be getting rid and stepping up the gear with a D3 like mine. He wont settle for anything less than a HSE but just cant make up his mind what colour to go for? anyone suggest anything to bias his opinion??

Got to personal choice really
Although silver if he is not into cleaning, black if he is, green if he wears wellies regular and blue if he is a mixture of all of the above lol

I'm biased but I think silver with ebony leather , when I was looking I thought any colour as long as it's a hse , but in the end got lucky , colour I wanted and spec , above and beyond my expectations , true , does not show u dirt so much .2008 ,hse, it does what it says .
Mine is Tonga Green, but as usual, when I try something else than black, I regret it at some point. Now the D3 might be the only vehicle in the world which is quite striking in a light colour, provided you have the black wheel arches. Silver is nice, and even white...... The older I get, the better I was.

Stornoway Grey hides the dirt very well, haven't washed mine in weeks, but the XS standard wheels are a pig to clean and get black very quick!! Run silent, run deep!! HM Submarines Conqueror, Churchill, Renown, Ocelot, Porpoise, Onslaught.

Silver, but I would say that. I originally wanted a black one with ebony leather. Ended up with a silver one and black leather instead. It was a much nicer car, lower miles and better equipment.
If I had got a black one, I would have colour coded the arches etc...but having silver it is nice to have the black arches to break the clour up a bit
