Back in Sydney town after setting up the apartment in Singapore in preparation for our move over there shortly.
Reading the papers there last Saturday I noticed an add for new RRS at discounted price for the weekend only, FROM a mere S$299,000 in real money (Ozzie dollars) thats $235,000.
Oh and you want to register it too, well you need to bid for your plates. There were 311 available and over 450 bidders and the current price just S$45,000.
So I could buy a new D4, park it at my daughters place in Darwin and fly Tiger air return 735 times and drive it 50klms (thats the equivalent of twice around Singapore ) over the next 3 years and break even. Or Jonesy63 and I could drive to Darwin, drink lots of red wine on the way and leave the D3 at Darwin and still come over to Ozz and drive in the NT ,WA and Qld  Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar,side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

The idea is to save some money , not spend it all .
Taxis are soooo cheap there and easy to find.
You should concentrate on your social , restaurant and concert life. 8)
Oh yes ! ...... and you'll need a few Rolex Pres. for show

And Ive seen the way the locals drive, so its cabs for me, and shanks pony will get me to Orchard road. Take the road less traveled.
