Crashed D3 - need to replace doors!
Bad morning......
Dropped daughter off at school today and managed to catch both the drivers side and passenger offside door against a concrete post in the centre of town....serious damage........
Can anyone tell me if they have had to replace doors (including mouldings) - and if yes - what's a rough cost for this work.
Going through a messy and very expensive divorce made me change the insurance to - effectively - 3rd party - and I know how stupid this was - but the repair will be up to me!!! - hence the question.
thanks in advance.....

Many thanks for your help...
Nick - as usual - superb..... One in a million........
Del and Clive - thanks for your comments also - enjoyed the banter.....
Update - Richard has the doors reserved for me (and in Buckingham Blue too ) and I am arranging for them to be sent - via a mate - to me here in France - local garage will fit....
All - have a great Christmas.
Once again - THANKS Marc Brennan

I never ever tire of reading the countless posts that detail just how often and how far beyond the call of duty TLO puts himself out to help anyone and everyone.
Many have been amazed at what i have managed to do on upgrading my D3 for so little cost and am now working towards upgrading my L322.
But none of it would have been possible but for the above and beyond help i got from Nick. Not forgetting the help from some other members too of course.
Fortunately for me i discovered Nick has a weakness for Cyprus Brandy, which gave me some small way to thank him
I think he was a bit shocked when i decided to deliver a couple of bottles to him in person though
Marc534, when you come to replace the doors, you, or anyone you give the job to, will find the connectors a bit of a struggle.
I recently put up this post that gives a lot of help and advice in dealing with them.

Hope this helps

BBS Spy,
Outstanding - and I know that I would have had serious problems without your advise and knowledge.
I will print off, translate the comprehensive instructions and pictures and give them to French garage when fitting doors.
Will keep all updated....
Once again - VERY MANY THANKS.
P.S - I will probably be coming to Cyprus in the New Year - MoD contract blah blah blah - where are you based?
Cheers
