Hi guys,
I am installing the NAV-TV OPV-2LR and TV in montion stuff myself. I have 3 questions regarding power source (I know nothing in vehicle electrical power system)
1. Where is the +12v perm
2. I assume -12v ground is anywhere to the chassis
3. Third one, the instruction says I need to connect the blue wire to the +12 switch between the Tv and the new source. I do not really understand this...
My setup:
a. MY06 D3 with Factory GPS + touchscreen TV
Objective:
b. play ipod + TV on the move.
Any help greatly appreciated!

I have not fitted one of these myself but reading the online instructions, when you supply 12v+ to the blue wire it will switch the input from the Factory Fit TV to your new (ipod) source, and when your disconnect the 12v+ from the blue wire it will revert back to the Landrover TV system.
So i'd say a 12v+ supply to a manual switch and then onto the blue wire and this should switch between Factory TV and your new source etc

Hope it helps

Does that means that I have to install a toggle switch?

Has anyone had success figuring out the wiring to integrate the OPV-2LR module with the Vehicledock product made by Nav.Tv ? I know Alpine CO UK is advertising integration of the VPA-B222R module, which is the Vehicledock product, with the OPV-xLR module, however Alpine support nor Nav.TV support have been very helpful on how to integrate the two together. Any help would be appreciated.
