| ACM non standard installation |

Hello
I am about to fit a ACM VPLAE0001 in my D3 HSE 08.
As I am going to use the ACM with my Iphone, I do not really want to have the connection cable, and the phone out of reach in the glove box. I would like to have the cable in the centre console by the lighter sockets.
I do not need a bracket, I am quite happy just to have the phone resting in the centre.
I would like to know if anyone has fitted the Iphone cable in this way, and if I need to extend the cable, drill extra holes, move the ACM box from the side of the glovebox etc.
Any help / instructions for a neat installation much appreciated.

Plenty of cable in the kit. Remove the H trim surround from the centre console and you easily be able to feed the connector to where you want it 
Trim simply pulls away. Start from bottom and pull out.

Have a look at my gallery for some reason I can't copy the code from my iPad to post in thread, I am using the iPod ACM before LR changed it to just a cable works fine and have the iPhone on charge and within reach
You will just need to see if you can find one, if you do give me a shout I want a spare 110 XS Utility

very neat installations indeed. Should I still mount the black ACM box in the passenger vent if I want to have the Iphone cable in the centre console ?
