WTD : Nokia CK-3 Cradle - D3 Pin outs
I have decided to give the carphone cradle a try as bluetooth is driving me nuts with the phone I have got. I have to have a tough phone and even though I used Wiggs bluetooth upgrade service, my tough phone plays up from time to time with the D4 module.
So I have made the descion to use the pti system and divert my tough phone to the 6230i.
Does anybody have a Nokia CK-3 cradle that they dont want, I have the base unit, just need the actual cradle to fit the phone into.
Also has anybody got a 6230i that they dont want as well?

I've got a spare cradle somewhere you can have for a tenner
I presume you're reverting to the D3 bluetooth module as the cradle is disconnected when fitting a D4 one?
(though I'm keen to get the cradle working with the D4 one if it's possible, trying to track down the pin-outs for the two modules)The End

Unless you are close to either Milton Keynes or North Warwickshire, in which case a meet and swap would be brill.
With regards to the PTI kit, I was told by Land Rover technical that there is a seperate module for the PTI and it is not dependant on the bluetooth module. I will take it regardless.
One for Wiggs I think?

You don't want to go believing everything dealers tell you.... there is a separate module on the dealer fit kit but on the factory fit the cradle connects direct to the bluetooth module, without that connection it's dead. I checked the docs on Topix to verify this a couple of weeks back and to double check (as I have a D4 module connected currently) have just plugged a cradle and a 6230i into my cradle interface and it's not recognised by the D3, not even any power going to the cradle with it disconnected from the BT module.
I'm trying to find out the pin-outs for both modules to establish if the later ones support a cradle, although the D4 and 09MY D3's that it's fitted in as standard don't have a cradle interface it's a Ford part so hopefully it's fitted in some Fords with a cradle.

That would be why there is about 3 power cables in various pins on the d3 module.
Interesting to see if the cradle is compatible with the d4 module, along with the pin outs

Slimmer, I can PM you the pin outs for the d3 module if you want.
Seems most of the pins from 16 up to 54 are used by the cradle/phone.
I will try & see if I can source the pin outs for the d4 module as well, hopefully then can see if the cradle will work with the d4 module.
