Middle Row Head Rest Removal
Can anyone tell me how to remove the middle row head rests - it would enable my kids seat to fit better for longer trips - all I have managed is to raise the rest until the stops - but I want to take it out all together and then replace later with no damage
cheers
Lurk. Why do I have 2 big hands when my D3 maintenance requires small hands and at least three of them ?

If you look where the little button is to release it on one side of the headrest, there is a corresponding one on the other side - but recessed a bit, if you push the recessed button in you should be able to lift the headrest out altogether, it may take a bit of jiggling but it will go.Clive

I just love this forum - I couldn't work out how to remove them (wanted better visibility rearwards when looking in the mirror) then thought, ah... just search for the answer. Bingo! Job done

This tripped me up - I spent ages pulling and yanking the damn thing, I learned some new swear words and got a real sweat on....then MrsG spotted the little secret button....I think she'd seen it all along....
