I am thinking of upgrading to a new D4. Having had problems with reversing bleepers and the multi height towbar on my 3 series, does the reversing camera work well with the MH towbar? Are there any other must have options?

I don't see why the reversing camera would have a problem with the MH tow bar as it is purely optical. It does work very well and is a no brainer for the relatively low cost. I have the removable tow bar and whole setup works very well.

Works fine with the adjustable height bar. You can clearly see the ball in the picture, which makes hitching up a doddle.

Yup! You can position the ball right under the hitch no problem.

There's a code somewhere that switches the reverse camera on when your moving forward. It can have its uses.

The kids love that one, especially when towing the tintent or if grandad is following behind.
I find the rear camera a real boost for hitching up and parking, fortunately mine works fine for now.
