Rear brake howl when EPB is NOT applied..... |
|
I was about to execute the EPB adjust as per Bodsy's brake bible, but re-read it and the howl/screech this addresses seems to be when the EPB is activated (ie as the shoes are moving).
We don't use the EPB as a rule. It had to be triggered at MOT time, and since then we've suffered a howl from the nearside rear when the brakes are lightly applied, and at low speed when you pull away again - it dissapears at higher speed, and under heavier braking.
EPB adjust as I originally planned, or rear pads?
