Heated Second Row Seats

I had a D3 S that had heaters in the second row. Now with the D4 XS, there is no heater. Rolling Eyes

Does anyone know if the harness/loom is already in place for a retrofit system or does this come under the heading of "Too Difficult"?

To add rear heaters on my D3 came under the title "too expensive to be worth it"

that being said, my disco 4 commercial has had the roof heater controls blanked off and the center console heater that blows into the back doesn't work either.

Does anybody know if I connected the controls up in the roof would the rear heaters work?

Question

The roof heater controls are only there if you have rear air conditioning fitted, which in the UK is not an option as of yet for any model of the D4.

Not sure of the possibility or costs to retro fit the proper OEM parts but I knoe Waeco used to make a really good simple to fit aftermarket kit and when we fitted that to our D1 many years ago it cost about £75 for two seats with two stage heating.

thanks lads,

I have used those aftermarket kits before and they are good. especially in my tomcat challenge truck with no doors and wet through....... although the warm back and backside feel like you have juste PI Censored ed in a wet suit Razz

the reason I ask is that I have a complete 2nd row of leather seats for my commercial conversion all with heater? if they're there why not use them?

thanks

from memory the heating pads are the most expensive items, the rest it just wiring which could be replicated.
