United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Adriatic BlueDiscovery 3
2005 Discovery 3 For Sale

Hi,

UPDATE : NOW SOLD!!!

I am reluctantly selling my Discovery 3 (long story) so if you are interested I have included a list of its credentials:

2.7 TDV6 Diesel, Manual, S spec, Adriatic Blue paint with Beige cloth interior, Registered on 3rd March 2005 and now has 16800 miles on the clock. The only extras I had on the car were the metallic paint and a detachable towbar with twin electrics (oh and roof rails).

There are pictures in my gallery under the 'new album' folder (not all of the Disco though Smile )

I am asking for £25000 for it.

Any offers??

Marc

Pelyma,

Yup, I am planning on coming on here every so often, but the Disco 3 is no longer my property (as of Friday 25th August) Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Oh well, the good news it that I will be driving a quick car instead but I will have to stop looking out for green lanes and fords otherwise it could be very costly!!!! Wink Wink

I will certainly miss my D3 and will remember the good times.... sigh!

Regards,

Marc

I wasn't going to say as I am a bit embarresed!!!!!

Its a BMW 330i which is fairly nippy. Wink

I didn't enjoy signing the papers during the sale of my car that says once I own a BMW I have to drive in the third lane of the motorway (only) and never use my indicators....... I think this is a BMW policy!!! Laughing Very Happy

Regards,

Marc

P.S. Cue all the BMW drivers comments Very Happy

Long story!!!!... but hasten to say that I am not very impressed with the possible future issues with the car.

What I mean by that is that I had lots and lots of problems with the car last winter, some of which the dealer fixed some of which the dealer said wasn't a problem (even though there is) and some of which the dealer said he wants to see if they come back this coming winter.

In short I have ran out of patience with the car and LR, and have decided to sell now rather than wait until the warranty runs out (at which time the car would be worth nothing).

I did originally intend on keeping the D3 for 10 or so years (as I thought it was a very good car that would last) but I have lost all my faith in what should have been a great car...... its a bit sad really... boo hoo Crying or Very sad

I hope this answers your question...... well you did ask!! Wink Rolling Eyes

I have just sold a BMW 330. Crap performance (got overtaken by an MGF!!!), Crap fuel economy. Now looking for a proper car - hence here!
