There is a problem with the turbos and oil build up in a hose between the two causing smoke under certain driving styles. Not sure if yours had this problem or not. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Got mine back on Friday. Turbo working fine thank god. Went out for a drive on Saturday, just coming off the motorway and heard the most horrible noise. Parked up and checked the car to find a large piece hanging off under the car. Rang assist and waited an hour. Turns out the protective panel had not been bolted on and the one bolt that was left was only finger tight. Guess wot its on its way back to the dealers.....

Just been returned to me again so hopefully it should be ok now. Also got 2 free Experience vouchers and £100.00 off first service. Thanks to Mel at Stratstone in Bury, cant blame her for the shoddy mechanics or the faulty parts.

Back in the garage again. This time a fault with the FBH, looks like they have damaged it whilst doing the turbo swap....... Why can't they do things right...

Turbo replacement on the 2.7 is not a 'body off' job it is done with the body in place but is very tight and a bit fiddly, not the nicest of jobs and removing the body is not just a case of removing 6 bolts lol i wish it was tho.
