Engine warning light

Engine warning light

Had a Engine warning light come on today its the orange one that looks like a engine but with no exclamation mark insde.

According to the manual its for petrol engines only Question Question and indicates "that the emission performance of the engine management system is impaired"

Anyone any ideas what it means on a diesel Question Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Probably EGR valves. I've just had the same light on my dash and the dealer replaced the valves under warranty. Thumbs Up

There didn't appear to be any loss of power when the light was on so if yours is the same it's most likely the EGRs. 2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

cheers Jamie i will call the dealer in the morning a see whats what,glad its under warranty Thumbs Up Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!
