i've managed to sort a deal for the GO-PRO HD helmet hero camera using my old job contacts.
they normally retail for £299. have managed to get them for £265. this doesn't sound like much of a discount BUT it's electronics,, the margins are tiny so this is pretty much trade price + vat.

Go Pro are in a different league to many of the HD Equip avail, particularly for outdoor or outside work.
And that is their key strength. In my tintop I used to use a Sony Mini DV camera which was excellent inside.
The Go Pro gives versatility and good quality in one package with lots of spares and is completely waterproof.
Thats what makes it worth the money.

Bought one last year and can recommend. Great all-rounder. Used it as a helmet cam for skiing and wrist-mounted for scuba diving. £265 is a good price.

that's a good question,, have asked a mate who uses one all the time,, he says good,, no issues at all, cannot offer a personal opinion as i'm buying one myself for the first time,, one wife.......livid
