Just ordered
Just ordered a new D4 HSE, had a few factory options as well but have a few weeks to change things. Is the TV any good or is it not worth it (my present view) ?1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold
1999 Discovery 2 TD5 ES Rioja Red, sold
2002 Discovery 2 TD5 ES Buckingham Blue, sold
2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Adriatic Blue, sold
2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver, sold
2011 Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE Nara Bronze, sold
2016 Volvo XC60 D5 AWD Lux Nav Twilight Bronze, sold
2020 Range Rover Evoque P250 First Edition, Nolita grey, sold
2023 Range Rover Evoque P300e Autobiography, Carpathian grey
We have the hybrid TV but to be honest I only use it when sat waiting to pick SWMBO up from the train station!
The signal strength varies wildly from location to location but when it's good it is good!

IMO I would not be without TV now I have had it. It is rubbish in some areas, but it is a gadget, and thats what counts

I have had TV in my last 2 cars. I think its a good option to have but its worth depends on what you do with your car. If you do a lot of waiting around in your car then its worthwhile. If you dpn't then you probably won't get much time to use it.

i didn't bother with the TV as i had it in my RRS and hardly used it, i have the rear dvd screens which keep the kids entertained but are expensive
i would recommened the heated steering wheel its only about £110 and its ace in this weather, i also have the timed climate which is very nice on a cold morning. Also when i ordered mine i had a full size spare 20 inch wheel which cost less than the price of a new tyre so it was a no brainer for me
what extras have you ordered
cheers shawnbali blue disco 4 with rear dvd's, privacy glass, pre heat system, heated steering wheel, full size spare, piano black trim, ipod cable, 20 inch wheels and i love it loads more than my TDV8 RRS, KTM 250 EXC 2 Stroke for the real off road stuff

My order so far
Fatory Options
D4 HSE in Nara Bronze
Almond/Nutmeg interior

Premium carpet mats - Thought these were standard on the HSE, but now they are an £85 option
Xenon Adaptive Headlamps
Surround Camera system
Privacy Glass
Ipod Connectivity Lead
Hybrid TV - not ordered at the moment but possible as like Gareth said it's a gadget and I do like my gadgets
Full size spare wheel
Factory Towing option
Dealer fit
Sidesteps,
Body side mouldings without bright insert

Get the tv
For what it costs from new , it's well worth it .
Tv module from LR is about £1300 .. Then you need antenna amps , looms etc . Can be retrofitted , but I would get one factory fitted .G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
