Fitting mudflaps - help!

Hello
Trying to fit the mudflaps today but there are problems.
They don't seem to fit to the profile of the trim very well and leave a rather big gap between the mudflap and the trim (annotated in yellow), and the rising edge (in red) seem to do nothing. Also the mounting holes don't alight with the screw (in blue).

There are similar problems on the rear mudflaps.
Please advise, have I got the wrong parts.
Thanks
Beefy

I think the D4 ones are the same as the D3, if so when I did mine I deliberately didn't tighten any of the screws until the seating was good. It could be worth loosening all of them up and seeing if there is movement or re-alinging possible.

ITSR the 09MY D3/D4 ones are different to 05-08MY D3 because of the slightly changes bumpers (the ones I sell come in two different sets) so I'd check you've got the correct ones. Saying that they're not a particularly great fit anyway and can need forcing into position whilst you tighten the screws. You shouldn't have to trim anything off if they're the right ones

Shaun

you are fitting the correct front and rear ??

the ones i supplied are
CAS500010PCL Front
VPLAP0017 Rear

As Simon said they are not the best fit but you shouldn't have to trim anything

The mudflaps also changed part number with the MY11 D4 (compared to MY10 version) suggesting a change to them in some way as well.
