Okay, JF Lux said it, i'm merely agreeing, though power figures i saw differ slightly. We will get a corresponding increase in MPG as well. New box sits well in the cabin, complete with pop up selector know currently in FFRR. The changes go much deeper than that though, any thoughts..... 1996 D1 (Legendary workhorse) - now KIA

Oh come on, where's the fun in that.....you want some clues? Okay:
Think:
Drive train - done that now, oh but we get paddles!
Engine - covered
Wheels
MY2011 extras which will become standard on some models
Jaguar features are now appearing on LR products, what electronics might be updated....
Posts on here have bemoaned about the stereo...have LR listened possibly
Colours, though sourcing some from Japan has now proved difficult
and other stuff..... 1996 D1 (Legendary workhorse) - now KIA

I liked the paddle shifts in the RRSport I drove for the week. That would be nice along with an 8 speed. But no to stop/start which is just adding more complexity.
How about dynamic cruise control, even if an option?
Will keyless move to standard fitment on a higher spec?

please tell me there will be a convenient space to easily mount an Optima... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

My guess is an update to the stereo/navigation configuration. Perhaps more intuitive and additional information such as traffic maps. What about mobile phone pairing for internet data such as weather forecast. Anyone else see the video of the 4th grader parking the Evoque without using hands? Will the 2012 D4 have the park assist feature? Just my guesses. 16 D4 Landmark

I've never understood why we don't have BT audio streaming into the phone module. Everything's there, BT interface to phone and MOST input to audio system. Potentially just a software update to the existing D4 AND D3 BT phone modules... Andy

Don't get too excited it's not quite Jag ...it just takes advantage of the new MOST system. High Line will become the standard on the XS and HSE. The Logic 7 system will become and "option" only across the range ....I would be a bit disappointed with that tbh. While the layout will be different for general controls the nav software is the same as 20011MY 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

DG,
Perhaps i'm mistaken (it has been known in the past!) but i think the HSE gets the LOGIC 7 as standard but it has been improved to a new 850w 17 speaker Logic 7 system. 1996 D1 (Legendary workhorse) - now KIA

An upgrade the the GUI is long overdue c/w a larger (?) higher resolution screen and HD cameras please!
I ended up buying an SE with the base ICE because for me, there just wasn't enough 'wow factor' in the High Line offering to make me want to write out a bigger cheque..
P.S. I appreciate that it's not easy to be at the cutting edge all the time and technology dates so quickly, but when I sat in the new Ford Focus recently, I was very impressed with what can be done! On the other side of the coin, the in flight entertainment on the brand new Lufthasa A380 that I flew in last year wasn't any better than a MY11 Land Rover but I guess that aircraft will generally always lag as the lead time to get stuff certified is so long.
