Tight tolerance mode or geometry set mode can be done via dealer or someone with Auto logic or Faultmate. It locks the suspension at a set height for wheel alignment. You will end up with a more accurate alignment but the hheight of the D3 does not make a huge difference to the alignment.

I have just carried out tracking on mine using the tighter tolerance using my diagnostic hawkeye, I set up in this mode , i then used the car for a few days and rechecked the tracking this time i checked without this mode activated, exactly the same readings.

Does stop the suspension self leveling though, so maybe ask them to leave the door open so it does not selv level while they are adjusting.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up
