Going at a fair old lick up the hill to the summit, fuel consumption must have been substantial.

V8 70 - 90 mph is definitly quicker than a TDV6 Confused

8) I've heard rumours of a test between a RRS S/C and an RRS TDV8. S/C quicker to 60 but V8 got to 100 quicker..... Disco 5 HSE Lux

It's quicker only because it sheds so much weight through fuel use under acceleration. Thats why they dont bother so much with mpg more mpKg Wink D3 HSE V8...

I bet 50-70 is much quicker for the TDV8 than the SC as the torque is much higher. I bet it does more than the 6mpg I got from the SC at Gaydon Embarassed DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

V8 you dont want one unless you like throwing money away in fuel. Sad
Had one for 3 weeks an auto HSE when they first came out
Your correct in the G factor but spent a furtune in fuel over 300 miles.i recollect around £200+
The diesel is fine although still a tad thirsty it makes sense Shocked Shocked
