Hi all, a funny thing happened on the way home yesterday as the weather was quite summerish and not wanting to waste expensive fuel I decided to open both rear windows 3" or so to get the air moving then opened the front passenger window the same amount and as soon as I pressed the window switch both door mirrors closed hitting the window glass and stayed there, so pulled into the next layby switched off the engine maually put the mirrors back in position restarted the engine opened and closed the windows again mirrors ok, so any idea's please.

Will assume you didn't miss the window switch and hit the "fold" button instead (!), but since there is a fold button just in front of the window switches, may be worth checking for dodgy insulation or moisture ingress in the switch unit?
