Tamar 4x4 - Cheap FR Rack |
|
Just ordered a Front Runner rack from Tamar 4x4 - £544 Inc Vat & Delivery..... seems almost TOO cheap!
Anyone dealt with these guys? They seem genuine and genuinely cheap too. If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

That sounds like a good buy do they fit onto the roof rails or do the rails have to come off and the rack fitted directly to the 8 holes in the gutters? My black Patriot is being delivered this Friday so will post some pics when fitted I can resist everything except TEMPTATION

Decisions,decisions!
That's a good price on the Frontrunner ,I had decided on that rack, but then saw a Black Patriot in the current LRO mag & thought that's nice .
Will look forward to your pics again Sonic3d
Maybe the price might help me decide

They fit onto the LR rails, from what i've read that will be fine as long as i'm not putting half a ton up there! If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

Tamar 4x4 - :censored: off!! |
|
Further to my post yesterday regarding reasonably priced FR rack £544 bought and paid for yesterday, call today from Tamar 4x4 saying they hadn't updated their website for ages and the price was out of date and the current price was £791!!
Did I want to pay the difference or did I want a refund.
I'm cross about it to be honest, i'm pretty sure it would be covered under "invitation to treat" in a shop, but on a website they have these "cover all" terms and conditions.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

I took screen caps of the transaction just in case, but don't reckon i've a leg to stand on with all the electronic consumer law .

It's the same as being in a shop - if they want to continue the sale, they have to honour the price. But if they don't want to sell to you, they don't have to. Annoying though Disco 5 HSE Lux
