Loose tweeter/mirror assembly |
|
Hi there,
My driver's side tweeter/mirror triangular assembly is loose from its top side. So I removed the door trim to find out that the white plastic circular clip was in its place on the assembly but not fixed to the door. I do see a hole in the door same level to the clip, so I guess something is missing there to keep the clip in the door?
Couldn't find any clear diagrams in the manuals or workshop docs, so, before undoing the other door to check, does anybody have a picture or even the will to attempt an explanation?
Kudos for such a great knowledge sharing base.

Ok, now that I know the tweeter clip is broken, I have 3 options:
1.Has anybody tried these Halfords clips?
2. Would it be reasonable to "steal" a clip from somewhere else where a trim wouldn't fall apart without it?
3. You lazy ba rd, will you get them from a dealer already...
Thanks to whoever can give me a hint. Probably a mislabeled D3 S with no nuthings. Who knows.
