Garmin Nuvi 1490/tv + eco route HD

I need a new gps garmin nuvi 710 has let me down and Further to this:

Has any one found a site where to buy both at cheaper than http://www.satnaveasy.co.uk/garmin-ecorout...36059.html and http://www.pixmania-pro.co.uk/gb/uk/r/nuvi...uvi%201490 (please delete if not allowed)

Any problems with using this gps and any thoughts on how to connect a camera to use as reversing aid? Can't see on garmin website if nuvi 1490 without tv has the video in option? A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

As you may have read I have the 1490TV and it has the line input and I have the ecoROUTE HD as well. I got mine from digital lemon.

To be honest with you I thought it was going to be really rubbish, but I tuned it in and it gives a very good picture, I was very surprised with the picture, It depends if you are in a strong signal area but you get two aerials with very long wires, I've put them on each the rear side windows, one vertical one horizontal. I get all freeview channels plus radio. As you have seen in the other thread http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic62936.html a few of us have got the GS console from a D4 (thanks to DAVE trying it first) and installed our satnavs behind it.

Oh and another thing, you CAN watch TV while you are moving, Not that I advise doing so as it is illegal and even if you are not watching it but police see that you can see the TV is in you view as you are driving you can get done! Whistle
