Warning - when the doors are not shut when locking.

On my old D2 and D3, if the doors weren't shut properly, the car horn used to go off, when pressing the key fob lock/alarm button. It was really useful.

My new D4 just makes a tiny peep noise, so you have to be almost stood right next to it, to make sure all the doors lock.

Anyway of getting a D4 to do the same?

regards,
IAN.

It might be a "small" noise, but its fairly prominent, no? I guess I always use the comfort system when locking (pressing the button the door), rather than using the keyfob, so guess I am always very close to the car.

Understand it probably isn't all that effective when you lock the car from further away. At least it doesn't wake the neigbours though!
