Just came back from a short holiday to Robe (South Australia) to try my hand at beach driving. It was going well until I got bogged on the beach and started to worry about a tidal sinking. I managed to get out after about an hour of repeated digging and reversing nearer the water. I was actually very lucky that there was another track near the water which was near rock as I was naturally siding down there due to the slope. If this track was not there I was going to be in trouble because winching forward was just getting me into more trouble. Pays to travel in pairs for a quick rear snatch.
Anyway back to the reason for the post. I had my enhancement a few days before going and during the first day of the trip the SRS Warning Indcator came on and stayed on.
It looks like this one shown in the pic below. It is No. 5. Any ideas if this might be linked to the enhancement or just one of those electronic failures?
Here's the uncermonious bogging.
The D3 back on hard ground in extended mode. Thank god for that.

if it stayed on then there is a fault. did it reset after a reboot, if so it might just be a glitch, still best to see your dealer and if it logged a fault code. looks like the youngun enjoyed your dilemma
I tried to check the GTR, but it appears to be down at the monent (at least for me anyway). I believe that there has been an issue with this light coming on, but I don't know what it is.Have a nice day!

Still down Pretty sure the TSB menions something to do with the routing of cables to the seatbelt pretensioners under the seat base
My SRS Warning Indicator light has been rectified.
Apparently there was a poor earth on the ECU causing it.
Poor earthing seems to be a common fault with problems I had on my D3.

Last summer my SRS light went on (1 year old - 17.000km tdv6 D3). The dealer diagnosed a fault of the airbag control chip. The chip has been replaced, and the problem apparentely solved.
