What is this Random storage box IN my friends D3 I noticed??

In the boot of my friends 05 d3 7 seater is this box in the left hand ingress. Fits perfect but mine doesn't have one just a space?? What is this?? I may want one Laughing but what is it?

you referring to the two storage boxes - one each side of the boot area that are on topof the boot side mouldings Rolling Eyes

Thought those storage boxes are there on all spec D3s Confused

Is it in the indent on the left (looking from the tailgate), where earlier 5seat models had the net? ==> Guide - Inexpensive AV Modification

I shall have to get pictures. No there's only 1. If you open the boot an look to left of boot and below storage box just above floor carpet is an area of plastic which moulds inwards above rear arch. My mate has a plastic thin same shape but not sure whats in it.

sounds like the cubby hole for the tow bar storage/rear aircon/towing electric fuses??

It's where the 5seaters have the net.

It could be a custom job or aftermarket item, when I was looking to get a net for my 7 seater I seem to remember stumbling across a couple... ==> Guide - Inexpensive AV Modification
