To explain for those who weren't on the forum at the time. We had a seller on ebay went by the name of Kevthebuilder. Kev was the SHOUTY TYPE with NO IDEA when to USE capitals AND A POOR GRSAP OF his KEEBORED.
He was selling a bunch of D3 wheels from his hovel in the midlands and some questions were raised about a) his source for said wheels and b) the outrageous prices he was charging.
So a bunch of us decided to click "watch this item" and send some random questions.
He got A BIT CROSS as the amount of people watching kept going up with no bids forthcoming.
So even more people clicked on "watch this item".
He GOT crosser. Or CROSSAH as he would have put it.
Then someone (:coughs: Dave :coughs:) dropped him a line inviting him to the forum. If he was cross at a bunch of people watching his auction, he went nuclear when he saw our posts.
Sadly it all got deleted, but not before he threatened to visit me and punch me out. Shame he didn't drop by really, as the lads situated at the location on my profile would have shoved a sack over his head and dragged him off for a spot of waterboarding I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Opinions please from those who have posted and don't wish to see a buyer being ripped off - should one of us - or all of us with ebay accounts just "ask seller a question"
"DO YOU KNOW THERE IS A LANDROVER FORUM ALL ABOUT THIS VEHICLE AND IT IS BELEIVED IT HAD ALREADY DONE 155000 MILES BY DECEMBER 2009 PLEASE CHECK ITS HISTORY"
I know one member has already informed Ebay under the "report an item" but that may not have been soon enough for them to do anything.
Should the sale go through, OUR concerns raised with the seller on ebay must be of some help to the buyer who may well end up on this forum.
PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINIONS - I AM QUITE HAPPY TO BE THE FIRST TO ASK THE SELLER BUT THE MORE THE BETTER AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT

The question won't show - I have already asked one, but there is a record on both his account, your account and your email log.
The question should be sufficient for him to respond to one of us who poses it to him.
We are not trying to stop a legitimate sale, but stop a possible very sorry buyer being taken for a ride.
