PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINIONS - I AM QUITE HAPPY TO BE THE FIRST TO ASK THE SELLER BUT THE MORE THE BETTER AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT
Do you really have to draw the site into this ? You can all ask difficult questions or call him a if you like without giving us mods another heap of work like in the "Kev the Builder" case 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I'm easy on anything else TBH All for exposing this type of thing but we don't want to attract a heap of trolls 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

DG - Agreed
I have sent seller a question -
"It is beleived this vehicle may have already covered 155000 miles by December 2009 please check its history to protect both yourself and the buyer"
I hope others who have taken part in this forum will send something as well BUT NOT MENTION THIS FORUM as you have now asked.

If I were to bid a high price and win the auction, then tell this chap the good news, would Ebay be smypathetic to have any subsequent negative feedback removed that he may leave me ?

Went to 10234 but did not reach the reserve.
Probably go back on with the reg number masked out to avoid all the attention.

I got a reply to my early request of which model was it - the answer came of "no it one up from standard"
Dont know if that is standard Jeep or Discovery
However he hasn't responded to the suggestion that the mileage was 155,000 in December 2009.
What questions did anyone else ask him on ebay - and what was the response if any.
Good idea from Matty 2332 !

Matt 2332 as a buyer he can't leave you negative feedback only positive or non at all. As a buyer you have the full option of positive, neutral or negative. He does not claim the miles as genuine in his text - only covered, well its true it has covered 95k as well as another 100 probably. This is of course putting full faith in an auction catalouge, which may have been wrong in the first place. Unless the seller is a known trader, Trading Standards they are unlikely to get involved, after all ebay is an auction site and the buyer beware should be forefront in anyones decision to purchase a vehicle without reading this forum first

I emailed the seller again and pointed out the falsities of his 'jeep', I also pointed out that Trading standards had been informed. He replied "No probs". Anyway, thankfully it did not sell this time ! His missus may have to wait a while for her 'Merc' A likely story.

Different plate. Our suspect is UHR. HA register sequential plates and pretty much the entire EU57UH* range is an ex HA car I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
