Ive sadly ended up buying this motor off anothe rebay seller in wales it now has 97k on it and i paid £11000
the user now doesnt want to speak to me funnily enough
the car is in good overall condition and im sure is th eorgiinal verhilce i understood that you couldnt adjust digital Mileage
any ideas greatfully received
Read the whole of this thread if you haven't done so already & consider your position.
At the very least you need a refund from the seller to reflect the true mileage.
I suggest publishing the name of the e-bay seller here, and that you complain to his local trading standards people.
Others will have better & more ideas.

Carl01 - As mentioned by another member, speak to Trading Standards in the area local to the seller. It may be they have some knowledge of the person who sold you the car.
You bought off Ebay - have you been in touch with them. Give them details of the item number when it was first seen on here, as Ebay may have some knowledge of a link between the two sellers.
The vehicle was reported to Ebay on 7th June under reference KMM51516531V34639L0KM for having the wrong mileage shown but they have still let it be advertised by someone else. That can't be right.

Carl01 -- I have never sold on Ebay, but are you sure you have typed the correct numbers in. Don't Ebay issue the item number not the person making the sale.
In any event, take it as far as you can.

Are there any Ebay sellers on here who know how easy it may be to change a photo and description once an item has been sold. Does the sales screen show the listing has changed?

If the auction has ended no you can't. If it was a classified ad for say 30 days and sells after ten between the seller and the buyer away from ebay you can change the content of the ad and pictures etc. If its an auction and has no bids and more than 24 hours to run you can change the listing to say whatever you like. I assume the buyer completed the tranaction through ebay? If so the listing would have been ended.

Carl01 - Did you buy in an auction on Ebay which ran to the end of its term, or was it a buy it now price.
