Hi guys great site full of great info ..... read alot and learnt alot.
Well today I took the plunge and ordered ah 2012my D4 GS. in Fuji white 
Extra's include cruise control , heated seats , powerfold mirrors , bright pack , privacy glass ,
cooler box. 
It's ah big step up for me as I currently have ah Freelander 2 GS. Only down side is I have to wait till
mid December for delivery though it could be earlier.....

two things,
1. where di you order from? (i live close to edinburgh, but would not use either dealership in edinburgh, previous bad exsperiance of both)
2. the wait will give you time to look at all the extras you should not realy buy, but will. Cheers

Does the spec include include a heated steering wheel?
If not I can thoroughly recommend it.

Hi kIjw I ordered it from Pentland Landrover as thats where I got my Previous Freelander from new.
Can't say I have had any problems at all so maybe I'm just lucky in that respect..

Hi NJSS It doesn't have a heated steering wheel specked but would be interest in possibly adding it to the build
What sort of cost are we talking about for this if you don't mind me asking.

On my MY11 D4 it cost £180 to include the heated wheel from the factory.

Hi Hairy Dan I've just had a look on the Land Rover site and it appears that the heated sterring
wheel is not an option on the GS only XS and HSE models but will speak to the dealers
tommorrow.
