Does anyone have any experience of the full size oem expedition roof rack or have one fitted? My question is - what is its load capacity and can it take a canoe, normally the canoe (large open canoe) is straddled over the roof bars but i'm just wondering if the exped version can take it, that way I can have the rest of my camping/climbing kit on there also... Many thanks in advance

I f you search on here you will find some interesting threads on weight limits...Roof limit is 50kg including rack IIRC. Don`t think many keep to that....
The expo rack can take a canoe especially as that is part of the G4 kit. But something like a Front Runner or Prospeed rack will be a much better choice. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
