Just be on a test drive in a D3 HSE down in Portsmouth WOW

I have just spent the last half hour in a 2005 Sliver D3 HSE on a test drive and it was everything that i was hoping for!!! Shocked

As soon as i was behind the wheel i had the biggest smile on my face and i had it all of the test drive.

I drove around Portschester for the whole of the test so I had the chance to open it up a few times and found a few small roads to fit down and back out of Thumbs Up I was surprised how easy it was to drive for such a large car.

All i need to do now is try to explain it all to the wife and get her to have a go.

Wish me luck.

Great aren't they Mr. Green

That's how I got the bug a couple of years ago. I already had a Defender 90 and an Audi A3, then saved a Disco 1 from the scrappy - new exhaust, lights and a few bits for MOT and really got to like it, then thought - "I wonder what a new one's like", that was it, a quick test drive and I was smitten Whistle Thumbs Up

The only problem I have that the wife has not driven anything bigger than my Honda Civic!

But I'm sure she will like the D3 (fingers crossed)

Same here. Thought I'd have problems convincing her, but no.

They say 'boys and their toys'. Think this applies to the fairer sex as well...

Today I'm going to test drive a HSE 2005 with 110k on the clock. I should get a good feel for what i'm looking for.
