"Drop-plate" style towbar after a "detachable
I have on order a 2012 D4 with a detachable towbar and standard electrics.
Being a farmer, if I decide I need the "drop-plate" style after all, can this be fitted without having to remove the detachable harness? From the literature, it looks like both can be fitted at the same time (obviously not both hitches).
Thanks for any info.

yes, both the swan neck detachable and adjustable lock into the same place and are interchangeable - the electrics are seperate.
i use both type of towbar, and just leave the stabiliser arms attached to the chasis and cable tied up when i'm using the swan neck ball
