Morocco Insurance

OK I went in 2010 and LRI covered me fully comp....but I don't think they would now. My LR service manager is trying to help out a customer with some advice about cover for M .....and knowing that I had been she called and asked if I know which of the mainstream insurers would provide it. Well I don't Laughing

Any knowledge or feedback on the current situ peeps ?? I will credit the greater knowledge of the site to her Very Happy

Looked at the same problem for Tunisia, pre their revolution. Big Cry Big Cry Best I could get was NFU third party only, all else said as Tunisia (and Morocco) didn't compy with some paper chase standard then they don't insure there. Rolling Eyes

I was supposed to be going this July, as a driver of an SHB 4x4 Hire Defender, with the Explorer Scouts. The trip has been cancelled because SHB were insisting on fully comp, and we could not find anywhere prepared to offer it. Even specialist motor sports insurers, such as Locktons who insure events like the Mac 4x4 would not insure Morocco.
